Install an eSIM on iPhone

Connect to Wi-Fi and open the QR code from your email or your order page on another screen.
Go to Settings → Mobile Service (Cellular) → Add eSIM → Use QR Code and scan it.
Label the new line "Bali". Keep your home line for calls and SMS if you like.
When you land: Settings → Mobile Service → Bali → turn on the line and Data Roaming, then choose it under Mobile Data.

Install an eSIM on Android

Connect to Wi-Fi and open the QR code on another screen.
Samsung: Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM → Scan QR. Pixel: Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Download a SIM.
After landing, switch on the Bali eSIM, enable Roaming for that line and set it as the mobile data SIM.
Menu names differ by brand; message us on WhatsApp and we'll guide you.

Is my phone compatible?

Most phones from the last few years support eSIM, for example iPhone XS / XR and newer, Google Pixel 3 and newer, and Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, plus recent Fold and Flip models. Some versions sold in certain countries (for example some mainland China and Hong Kong iPhones) have no eSIM. Quick check: dial *#06#. If you see an EID number, your phone supports eSIM. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked; ask your home provider if unsure.

Physical SIM: what to bring

Your passport. Every prepaid SIM in Indonesia must be registered to the user's identity. Our staff scans your passport at handover and activates the card for you.
An unlocked phone. We insert and test the SIM with you before we leave.
Staying more than 90 days? Foreign phones on Indonesian networks may need IMEI registration through customs for longer stays. Message us and we'll explain the current process.

Tips

Download offline Google Maps of Bali before you fly, just in case.
Turn off automatic photo backup over mobile data to save your allowance.
Telkomsel has the best signal in the mountains, Nusa Penida and the Gili islands.
Unlimited plans follow a fair-use policy: high speed for a daily allowance, then slower until the next day.
